Yeah, you, with the with the slightly flushed cheeks and the wary air. You've just found your way to one of the most potent portals on the internet. This isn't just any course in magick. It's not another 'awaken your sexuality' course, either. This is something else. This is sexual alchemy.

The forest for the trees

Exploring sex magick can be a lot like getting lost in a forest, way off the beaten path. You wander through the thickets of Amazon, looking for books that don't totally skeev you out. You poke at the edges of hollowed out logs, finding one course after another that just doesn't feel like home.

You walk, and you search, and your feet and heart grow weary as the sun sets and the shadows come out to play. You may think to yourself that sex magick isn't for you after all, and you'll just set your sights on some other way to practice your craft.

Looking for landmarks

I get it. I chose that path for years, every once in a while taking a quick jaunt through the forest, always stumbling back out feeling hungry and a little off balance. In a culture where sexual expression--especially a woman's sexual expression--has been demonised, it can be really fucking difficult to find a guide that treats sex as sacred, and goes beyond titllation or manifestation.

Finding a new trail

In reality, your sexual energy is the most potent form of energy you have access to. When it's flowing, magick just happens spontaneously. When it's stuck...well, you might fly to faraway lands and burn down whole circles of relationship to get it back.

Practicing sex magick makes it possible to reach into your fire, wield a mighty flame, and not get burned.

At least, not too much.

Because it wouldn't be any fun without a little risk involved right? But these risks are aimed at stale relationships, outmoded identities, and all those soggy little stories you were told about what love, worship, sex, and demons are supposed to mean.

The ancient wisdom of Lilith

Remember when I said sexuality had been demonised? I wasn't being cute.

Lilith, the first wife of Adam (yeah, THAT Adam), was cast out of Eden for having the audacity to want to be on top when she had sex with her husband. Pull the lens back, and you can easily see how that dynamic still exists today.

Lilith went to a cave on the shores of the Red Sea and proceeded to sexually express however she damn well pleased. Of course, Adam got whiny (and lonely) and asked God to go fetch back his wife. Lilith's response to the angels who came to collect her?

Fuck off.

She refused to go back to a situation where she wasn't seen as an equal, and where her pleasure was deprioritised. Now, she's considered to be a demon.

At the heart of the forest

Like all good adventure tales, you will not emerge from this course unscathed. Transformation requires sacrifice.
